Best quality I've seen in many years of buying Mexican blankets. I've bought Mexican blankets from border towns and trading posts in the past. All were good, but these are a step up in quality. I'm replacing all my old ones with these.

A well-crafted beautiful blanket! I missed the note on their website that mentions variations to be expected because I was surprised to receive the blanket and the colors weren’t vivid at all in comparison to the images that were advertised. (I ordered the Hondo) and I’m giving five stars because I love the blanket and I have no desire to return it, but in my opinion it’s much more desaturated than photographed by Compadre. I wish they maybe photographed these variations and said hey you’ll get something in this range…

Absolutely perfect! We are using ours as a design accent folded at the end of our bed- it really ties the room together and is soft and cozy as a blanket too! The colors are gorgeous.

I absolutely love compadre blankets, they are the finest blankets and I bought one for all my family and even my Irish setter. Everyone should have a compadre blanket. They are a great size and very soft, comfortable, and warm.
I bought 2 Falsas and 2 Sarapes. I'm immediately smitten with all of them. I knew I'd love the Sandora and El Campo colorways, but somewhat unsure about Sundance and Rambler because I thought they might be too bright/loud for the deeper palate I was going for. So delighted that the orange, yellow, tourquoise are more muted than the pictures suggest, thus all four make a great set together. The material is soft, thick, tightly woven. That combo of quality and style makes them worth the price.
SO pretty and thick. I've only ever bought the cheaper Mexican blankets in the past and mostly chose this one because the colorway was so pretty, but the quality was such a nice bonus.

I absolutely loved all my blankets. They are incredible. The quality is so far superior to the ones I used to buy on Venice Beach. It is so nice knowing that they are hand-crafted from upcycled fibers.
The only reason that I am giving a four star review is that the Sundance Blanket is not the same color orange as shown on the website. While the website shows a bright, vibrant orange, the blanked that showed up is a rusty red. I did write a letter to the company telling them. They wrote back apologizing and said that they believed it was a bad batch from the supplier. They said they would get back to me and offered me an another Sundance blanket that accurately represents the color on the website. I thought that was wonderful customer service. Sadly, I have heard nothing from them since.
Nonetheless, I would highly recommend these blankets. I bough 4 of them, and all the colors were perfect, except for Sundance, and quality is unbeatable.

Prior to receiving my Sundance serape, I kept my expectations in check. I had never heard of the Compadre brand and there are so many cheap knockoff brands advertising on social media. The reviews were glowing but I wasn't sure whether to trust that they were real. Let me just tell you... I was so blown away when I opened the package. This serape is very high quality and the colors were exactly as I saw them on the website... natural, rustic and earthy. I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase. So much so that I just ordered the Old Sol falsa, as well. The serape is cozy and comfortable but the falsa should be even more so. The price point is more than fair for such high quality and I'm sure I'll be ordering more to give as gifts.
